Self Selected Response

I'm a huge J.Cole fan, as well as a Kanye West fan. J.Cole did a interview with Angie Martinez and Kanye West did a interview with the Breakfast Club. These two interviews sparked my interest and to actually take a look at our society from a bigger picture. After sitting and thinking for hours, I hate the society we live in, we live in where clothes defines the type of person you are. The amount of Jordan's you possess in your closet and the name brand clothing is the way we are defined.I feel our educational system is down the drain,

Like I have said before, people claim college is so necessary, but is it worth being in debt for the rest of your life? Too many people are the same. Everybody feels that are comparing themselves to another person instead of being their self. Too many people focus on the wrong things such as music that continues to talk about the same subjects between drugs, money, females, guns, etc. As well I'm tired of watching people use people like cigarettes. People use each other for their own personal gain, then push those people out their lives. When did our society become so selfish? Everybody thinks about themselves. If we can actually realize that we live life with love: Love for yourself, love for your fellow brother or sister, love for life, we can go so far as a society. I just want to see a change in the way we live instead of living the same everyday.

ID

Recently since we have come back to school we have been put to work right away. Currently we take economics, the study of scarcity of resources. This is where supply and demand takes place, as well as living in a capitalist society. Capitalism is where trading and industry is controlled by private owners instead of the state. Also we began to jump in deviation in statistics. Deviation is statistics is how far a number is from the mean. We have learned how to calculate the range and mean of each of the deviation.

To be honest I understand that some components of all these classes we are currently taking part in has some value in our lives down the line, but others I really don't understand why I have to sit through this. In College Readiness we have talked about the importance of college, but why do I have to listen to lessons in class, but never will use in my life. I asked my brother who graduated from college, how many times has somebody asked you about Pythagorean Theorem? 0 was his answer.
