FC (Free Choice)

Wow it is kind of surreal that we will all be graduating next year. It's amazing how 4 years turned into 6 months = 4,382 hours, 37,440 minutes. I don't actually think it has set in that graduation is so close, that TMA will soon be a memory of a time back then. This is when you realize that nothing last forever, but will always have the memories. Knowing college is right around the corner is one of the biggest nerve racking thing. Your going to a new place, possibly without friends, meeting new people, doing everything on your own, nobody to hound you over work.

College is like a whole new world. Living on your own is the biggest obstacle because I never done that before. It will be a huge reality check in itself. College is bittersweet to me, I want to go, but at the same time I don't. I don't want to leave the life I know, the normal at the same time want to experience something new. The biggest fear that always sits in the back of the mind is that I am going to fail and disappoint people. That thought always lingers in my head, as much as I try to throw it out.

Everybody always says "college is going to be the best part of your life", but I really don't believe that at all. Although, I do believe college will define the type of person you are, you find out who you really are if you don't already in college.

ID (Interdisciplinary Post)

In my class Participation in Government we are always learning a new piece of the law. Today for example we learned about the jurisdictions of the different courts and the different kind of situations they handle. Also we having been learning about different Supreme Court cases and how these cases has effected the law today. We had to read a article about a law that is introduced that effects the 4th Amendment.

This article was based on the police letting people know they have the right to say no to the consent of search. This causes a conflict of interest between the police and the citizens walking the street. If people are aware of this, everybody will most likely decline the search. This only proves that the law is being changed over and over and still trying to make it right for the people of this country. The police do not want this law to go into effect because they feel it protects the criminals even more and puts the police in more danger.

Since the law isn't perfect by far these changes to the law need to be made. The laws being put into place are there to protect the people. The changes to the law are to protect the people from any unjust treatment today. I only think this is interesting because if I ever want to have a career in law then I have to know it. I have to know the law better than I know the back of my hand.

Self-Selected Response (SSR)

Having to read Fahrenheit 451 causes a deep interest because from I have read books causing this much trouble in one society is issue. Technology has fazed out books completely is crazy. One physical book can cause you either to be burnt to death with your home or your house burnt then your under arrest. It amazes because I feel that reality is closer than we know it or even realize and that is the sad part.

Look how many hours we actually on Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter, and etc. Times have changed dramatically talking on the phone to 150 characters with a max of 220 messages. We have become so socially dependent off of our advanced technology that we will soon be at the point where having the physical book has become extinct. They even have apps so books can be downloaded onto the phone, computer, Ipod, which is bittersweet piece to technology

The more interesting fact about this book is there is no leadership. No one wants to stand up and become a leader and fight against the nonsense they face. They all just sit there and wait till things reached it's breaking point to decide to stand up and it may be to late. If you question something and feel like it is wrong don't hesitate to speak out about it. This interested me because people are so quick to hold their tongue and sit back and watch things transpire instead of taking a leading voice and act questions.

My Passion

When  you ask what I am passionate about, I would've said to be liked by everyone, for everyone to always have something positive to say about me, but high school killed that passion years ago. As I sit here and really think what is my passion is, my passion is to never be the biggest let down anybody has seen. People hold my life and my achievements on such a high pedestal that I don't think I can reach at times. I always have faith in my self. but there are those times that I question: "WHY ME?". Why give me such a burden to carry on my back? Then again I think I'm the perfect one for the challenge.

I'm passionate about becoming the "perfect" Sean. First, before everybody says: "Nobody is perfect", when I say "perfect" Sean I simply mean the best Sean I can be. The "perfect" Sean is the person that I'm happy to be, happy to look myself in the mirror everyday Sean. I can honestly say I'm not perfect of course not, but I'll be damned if I didn't try for it. I understand there are days where I may seem mad at the world, that is only because the smile I put on everyday wouldn't be believable.

At the end of the day I think the biggest passion of mine is being independent. I want to accomplish things on my own without people rubbing it in my face that they helped me get where I am today or least have help from people who won't rub it in my face.

To Be Honest: My Biggest Passion are my biggest fears.

CRR (Class-Related Response)

In class lately we have spoken about what makes a person successful and the characteristics of a successful person. First thing that has to be explained is what is success? There are three kinds of success: social, economic, and emotional. Social success is when you can blend into society comfortably. Economic success is being able to have economic stability. Lastly, emotional success is social awareness meaning learning about the dynamics of social relationships.

After knowing the definition of success, knowing the characteristics of a successful person is key. These characteristics consist of grit. Grit is sticking with something through all, the willingness to get going through the failures. Even though a successful person has have to have grit, but most all they have to be self-motivated and hungry. Being self-motivated means that with all the doubt having faith in yourself, that is the type of person that nobody can deter. Hungry means that they strive for their goals, their hunger for success, and their hunger for better.

Seeing people with this type of ambition and pride in a person is a dangerous thing to see. This person wouldn't and will not be held back I promise you that because they are always forward to the future. This successful person will be able to carry it over to college and to their careers in life. So when we talk about being successful in class I understand completely what a successful person is. I feel like these characteristics describe Sean Scott.

I KNOW I AM HUNGRY. HOW ABOUT YOU?

How can I introduce Sean? Sean is probably one of the most caring people in the world. I'm currently a Senior that continues to wonder is he really ready for college or is he really going for him or to satisfy everyone's need? I'm very courageous and care what people think about me, but I don't at the same time. So if you see this hilarious kid Sean in the hallways introduce yourself.
